Patrol Division
The
Uniform Patrol Division is the single largest and most visible
division within the department. Officers assigned to this
division provide continuous protection to the entire corporate
limits of the city on a round the clock basis.
The Patrol Division responds to routine and emergency calls
for service and initiate most investigations
from citizen complaints and provide crime prevention and detection
through random and directed patrols throughout the city. Day
to day operations are supervised by the Patrol Captain. The
Bike Patrol is utilized to patrol specific targeted areas
and also special events.
